Unanswered posts
Hey all, thought you might be interested in a recent change. Go to Quick Links on the Navigation menu and click Unanswered Posts.
This will search all threads that have no replies. It might help when trying to find a thread that has not been answered.
Enjoy!
Eric

It was e's idea to help improve things, or one of em. It was the one that was quickest and easiest to implement

FWIW, another way to get there is to click Search, select At most in "Search Options" | "Find Threads with", then click Search Now.

And/Or, here's a direct link that can be added to your Favorites/Bookmarks:
Code:

Yeah, Dr, but it's so much easier with Eric's solution in place. Great job Eric and Joe!! Thanks.

From a date standpoint....how far back should a member go in posting to an unanswered post?......since the thread's author hasn't bumped it?....1week...2weeks..??

No set time period. Whatever ya like. If it's really old you can figure the author probably won't be back to check but it's up to the user

So 2weeks makes sense?
the author probably won't be back to check but it's up to the user
I thought all thread's authors automatically received email notice of answers to the thread.

Depends on their settings. That's the default but you can change it.

I wouldn't bother going back more than a month or 2, but definately not mor than a year.
