How do you return to a download page....if your browser has been uninstalled? LOL

IEX 6 automatically gets reinstalled at the same time. But it would be amusing if Microsoft programmers forgot to add that bit of code.

I don't understand why they are giving those instructions like that, it was probably a mistake. There is no problem at all with downloading Beta3 and saving the file to disk before uininstalling Beta2 - that is how I did it.

You cannot run both IE6 and IE7 together, when you install IE7 it replaces IE6.

I thought there was an instruction in IE7 Beta 2 for installing it alone while still being able to use IE6? no? I think though I'll wait to install it when I have the new computer running, along with office 2007 and Vista.

No, you can't run them concurrently. There is a registry hack to revert 7b2 to 6. If you really want to run both (in case you're a webdev for example) use Microsoft Virtual Machine.
I believe Microsoft has IE 6 available on FTP for those in dire need... assuming they didn't get rid of that with the SPA monkeybusiness. Or get firefox over ftp, ftp.mozilla.org.

nope I'll stick with IE6 on this old computer and install 7 when I get the new computer up and running.
