    Resolved [RESOLVED] Possible malware??

    getting popup on screen stating press spacebar or enter to use this control. Only noticed this lately and is also on my daughters computer

    It's from a recent MS update and it's related to activex control..

    there's a (supposed) fix for it and more info here....

    Thank you for the quick and knowledgeable response. Tried the "patch" but said my version IE was not compatible. Sure there will be a fix down the road.

    Yes, apparently the "fix" doesn't work for everyone. Did you try uninstalling the update that started the problem? You'll need to check "show updates" in add/remove programs.

    wasn't sure if I needed that update. I'll give it a week or so to see if they make a corrected update. Thanks
