    The world's fastest silicon-based microchip has been demonstrated by scientists in the US.
    The prototype operates at speeds up to 500 gigahertz (GHz), more than 100 times faster than desktop PC chips.

    Now i want one of those!!! , although the liquid cooling kit my cost a bit .
    using the same logic as that article that means my processor should be able to run about 40% quicker at -268.5C. does newegg sell liquid hydrogen?

    We've already been pondering it (Bistro posted it) but when i went to post the link i realised it was in the specialists lounge.(The hidden one).

    Dual chip board would give you 1Terahertz. with liquid notrogen no doubt.
