I dont know if this is the place to post it but when I get ready to add a HD to my PS2 I think it would be worth the extra 40-50 to get a laptop Fanbase for it,the PS2 runs warm and any HD ofver 40GB is not going to last a full 3 or 5 years without a fan,wouldnt mind trying to put a LAptop fan in it with a small conversion device and put a fan thin fan on it altho I dout it would work the PS2 is sych a fickle machine >< been ahveign a fun time with Flash/Pen/Jump drives but my real Q is to be asured a HD will last a cooling is needed right?

I have even had Fans on top of the case just blowing air on it and they reduse the heat nicely,BTW I built my PS2 by collecting parts *L*
Oy vay I hate the way PS2 is built so many revsions so many incomptable parts
