It's hard to hold a camera steady enough at that shutter speed and not get fuzzy photos. A tripod is used when shutter speeds go below 100.
If he's using the flash ,wouldn't the camera automatically set the shutter speed 1/60 similar to what a 35mm SLR does when you choose flash and a non-manual setting?or is there no need to sync the flash and shutter speed with a Digital (no physical shutter).
