Remove the floppy disk from the floppy drive
Insert the CD in the cd drive.
Reboot.

If that doesn't work, reboot with the floppy in and select the CD Rom Support option (1 I think).
Make note of what it tells you your CD drive letter is.
At the prompt (A:\>) type cddriveletter: (eg e:) and press enter
Type setup and press enter
Follow the prompts

I just finished installing the os. Kept trying before you posted and finally got it right.
At the A prompt I typed D: and hit enter, then at the D prompt (I'm guessing that is what you call it) I typed setup and hit enter. All went well. Just have to install drivers and hope all is still well. Thanks

Back for another lesson. Trying to install drivers for this system. I have a drivers and utilities disk for my system. What do I do with it? I put it in the CD drive and it said remove disk but before I could a lot of folders flashed on screen an screen went blank. But I could hear the drive running so I ejected the disk. I really need help!!!

Did you remember to remove the floppy disk?
Boot the computer, place the cd in the drive. The cd should start and open up a window. There should be a list of things to install.
Install one at a time with a reboot between each install. That reboot between each one is very important.
