About the only forum I use and try to contribute when I can, are the best managed, and moderated I have found online are: right here.
I feel at home here.
I like the way newcomers are welcomed and not bashed to smithereens.

Surf the eBay forums if you want to see well mangled posts, multiple warnings over nothing, and members in full blown post wars.
If they had any real competition I'd never visit there.

One of my profiles I used (yep, make that past tense) to post on the forums there was completely tossed last week for directing another member to an auction site that has firearms.
And I'm not talking assault type weapons.
The guy was looking for an over-under shotgun to shoot skeet and trap.
All completely legal is the USA.
4 years down the tubes in 1) post to auctionarms.
