    Windows Media Player 11 Beta Launches Wednesday

    Yep, it's been talked about that the whole Itunes look is supposed to get people to switch as MS are using "URGE" to offer an Itunes alternative, and i guess looking like that it is supposed to ease the transition.

    Also note, that screenshot is of the version that's in Vista. The XP version won't have the transparency effects.

    Transparency has been around for years... witness Trillian chat windows. Why did it take Vista to get it to catch on?
