[Pro] Copying user profiles in Windows XP Professional

I am testing a program and I want to copy the user profile from the original machine to the test machine.
We DO NOT use roaming profiles.
We use, domain accounts to log in.

Can I just copy the user profile from C:\documents and settings\username?

Do I have to anything with the registry or use SID changer?

Can you guide me through the process, step by step or redirect me to a website?
    thanks

If the account isn't corrupt you can just copy it directly from one computer to another, but not by copy/pasting the folder.

Under "System Properties" (Control panel -> System) go to "Advanced" -
Under "User Profiles" go to "settings" -
Highlight the profile you want to copy and click "Copy To" -
In "Copy Profile To" type the UNC path on the other computer where you want the user profile to go - example: \\computer\C$\Documents and Settings\userprofile

If your user has already logged in to that computer before and a profile exists, then you will get a message about overwriting that profile, choose yes.
