Virtual Patient--Perhaps try one more time, but this time when you are on the Security tab window and have highlighted Trusted Sites, click Restore Defaults, before clicking Sites to enter the Trusted Sites and entering the sites's URL.
I was able to enter the sites you posted fine once I had put them into Trusted Sites.
You could also try a Repair of IE, though I am not sure if that is available in WinME. Start|Run|Programs|Accessories|System Tools|System Information|Tools tab.
