VU meter

I think it would be 1337 to have a VU meter in the front of my computer. But, I really couldn't find many of them. and most look kinda crappy..

this one looks kinda cool, but I'd like one that leaves my audio alone.. what does this thing do to it?

What do you want to 'Meter'? (Temps, fan speeds, power outputs, sound)?

what I meant is- what does this mean?

LOL, that's what happens when you take some marketing BS and then translate it into English

From what I can make out it is taking the output of the sound card and passing it through a vacuum tube, which is generally considered to give a "warmer" sound than transistors.

well, I think the thing would be cool to have...
my worry is that since I can only put 2 channels through, two of my speakers will sound different then the other 3..

I wonder if I get a splitter (like so you can listen to something w/ 2 headphones) it might be able to help.., but I know if you plug two things into one of those things it cuts the volume in half.., but if I don't have anything plugged into the other end of the uh..., thing... (cooler master Musketeer 3) will it still read sound pressure and keep the volume on the other side consistent..
