I have Windows Me. I messed my computer and drivers up, and before this when I would insert a CD, it would bring up a setup menu or start the game. I would also be able to right-click on the Drive's icon in My Computer and it would list auto play as an option. But now, the disk doesn't automatically start up. AutoPlay isn't listed in My Computer. Also, I think one of my games is being affected by this error. (Sonic 3D Blast, [not Sonic and Knuckles]). Not only is it not starting up when I insert the disk, but when I go through My Computer, open up drive D, and click on the icon that is supposed to start it up, nothing happens. This is the only game that seems to be affected.
In device manager, the AutoInsert box is checked off. The Microsoft website recommends that you go to the registry, then to LOCAL_MACHINE, then to CD-ROM. My resgistry doesn't list my CD-ROM.
Ideas?
Thank you!
