Outlook Express 6
We are having a problem with Outlook Express 6 and the email. Each time we send a email, it asks for our password. The box you can tick to save password is not available. I went to the options and looked there and the password is saved there. It is a hassle to have to put the password in each time we send an email. We have WIN XP, IE, Outlook Express 6, DSL.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Open Outlook Express, go "Tools" in the menu, click on Accounts, then click Properties of the account in question, then click on the Servers tab. There you should be able to tick "save password"

Thanks a lot photolady!! I had ticked it in one spot but not the other and for some reason a box saying logon using password authentication had been checked. I guess I did not look for enough!! Now my better half can stop grumbling about me "updating" the computer.....LOL
