There's probably only one way to find out. Install it with your fingers crossed.
Might consider looking at the Plus Packs for XP->

If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

I DO know that the Serene Scene Aquarium screensaver on the 98 Plus version will NOT work in Windows XP.

try it then ask..
hello steve, bistro
the only part of the plus package i was interested in was the science fiction screen saver and the desktop theme of the same name...thought someone must have tried them with xp and know if they work or not...as far as just trying it, i have a history of doing things first then reading the directions, only to find that i could have saved myself hours of grief by reading the directions first or asking a question or two first....of course there is the flip side of that which is that there seems to be a large percentage of wrong or misleading directions (i have quite a few old parts that work only with say the jumpers in the wrong position) i can remember a computer that appeared dead but was only a loose nic card, that one made me scratch my head a little..any way i will wait a few days to see if someone post's a responce thanks steve and bistro

You could try copying across the [name of screensaver].scr files and as for the others they may be stored in a dll file like windows default icons which you might find by selecting the properties of one of them and using the change icon option which should reveal their source.
