Question What's the best deal (bang for the buck)?

    Hi all,

From the list that's provided let me know which video card you feel gives the best bang for the buck. They all have 256 MB RAM, but one or two are DDR while the rest are GDDR3.

    6800: $129 - $30 rebate ($99 after rebate)
    6800GS: $169 - $15 rebate ($144 after rebate)
    X800: $168.50 - $30 rebate ($138.50 after rebate)
    X800GT: $124
    X800GTO: $149 - $20 rebate ($129 after rebate)
    X800GTO2: $159
    X800PRO: $145
    X800XL: $169
    X850XT: $169 - $15 rebate ($144 after rebate)

I would go for the 6800GS personally, for the fact that it is up there on specs, and Nvidia's software is a hell of a lot easier to use than ATI's, plus there are a lot more built in features. Where are these prices from?

No problem, , just wondering as i've heard some people around the forums complaining about TigerDirect's rebates taking a while to get, i've heard nothing but good things about Newegg though.

I'd bet Newegg. I've used nVidia and Radeon; at the risk of restarting a war, I like nVidia because of its smaller footprint on my system and an easy menu to navigate.
