How to re-instate winfax as a printer, after deletion
Using Winfax Pro 10.02 and XP.
Followed advice from Symantec tech support and deleted Winfax Pro from my list of printers. The rest of the advice does not make sense. NOw, I am not showing winfax as a printer option. Cannot do a system restore, since I do not have a restore point. How can I get winfax as a printer option, on my list of printers, without having to reinstall winfax pro?

Probably have to remove/unistall it and re-install it via Add/Remove-Windows Componets.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Steve:
I was hoping to avoid that. I hate having to set up headers and configuring the software to work the way it did in the past. But, may have to. Thanks.

Steve:
I do not see add/remove printer. I can do an add/remove program for winfax and reinstall, which I have done in the past. It just takes time and steps to go through to make sure I retain my files, logs, tph numbers, etc.
I may have to do that, since I cannot restore.

According to Symantec's web site, there is an install routine for the WinFax printer driver. Too bad Symantec support didn't mention this to you before advising you to delete the printer.

Got it back, guys. This is what I did:
Start--->Programs--->Winfax--->Install Directory--->INSPRINT--->Close all windows and restart computer.
Thanks for your help.
