[RESOLVED] How to I.D.cpu core type
Yesterday my new case arrived( Coolermaster 532) and I installed the Abit NV8 m/b. Today the cpu, psu, card, ram, hdd. arrived. The cpu is an Athlon 64 3000+ 754 socket...with Venice core. Yep..a Venice core on a 754 socket! I ordered that cpu specifically for the Venice core. My question...I would like to confirm that the processor that Newegg sent me is the Venice core. The box gives no info on that...how do you read the code that is on the processor to tell what type of core that it is? These are the three lines of code: 1.ADA3000AIK4BX. 2. CBBWE O544DAF. 3.XO36357K51402. I am gonna wait until tomorrow morning to install everything...
