Anyone hear of these critters??
When i boot up Reg Cleaner,,it shows these two as "software", author unknown, old.
Prassi and Virtual Media..Don't know if they were left from software i uninstalled or whatever. Ad Aware doesn't detect them, Reg Cleaner doesn't say anything is in registry for them. I've done a "find files" with *. but it shows nothing.
Think they're deletable? Maybe just bein' spooky,,but knowin' good ol' Windoze,,??

If I remember correctly, Prassi had something to do with a CD label maker I had installed for awhile.

To expand on Prassi a little. My CD-RW is Sony, it came with two pieces of software. One was CDextreme, which is the primary burning software, and Prassi. Prassi is the stuff that supports packet-writing/drag and drop functions.

snarfll,
Dosen't Regcleaner make you a back-up.
I don't know what version you are running, but take a look at Options > Registry Cleanup > Backups , and make sure the "Don't make any backups" is unchecked.
Seems I remember one version defaulting to that, could be wrong though.

Renovator,, yep, your right, Reg Cleaner makes one back-up by default or you can set it for more.
Deleted the two items and will keep them there 'til i'm sure nothing is harmed.
Thanks all for your help!
Have a; good'un
