Extending C:\
I have XP Pro with SP2. My c:\ drive is 7gig. I have 2gig of free unpartitioned space immediatly following the System partition. How can I extend c:\ to utilize that space.
I have extended other non-System NTFS partitions. But it appears that I can't extend C:\? Anyone have any ideas?

You can only do it with a 3rd party utility such as Partition Magic. There isn't any way of doing that from Windows unfortunately.

You can also easily turn the space into a second partition through disk management.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

After adding it to C:, are you going to create folders to store more stuff? If so, what's the difference between a different drive letter name and a folder name?
