Pause boot screen - is it possible ?

Thing is - my new Fujitsu Siemens comp has a F-S logo instead of the first boot screen. You can tap the tab button to get it back - for a split second. But I want actually read whats there !
Is there a way to pause it so i get the info there ? (BIOS number etc)

The "Pause/Break" key on your keyboard should do the trick.

There should also be an option in the BIOS to display the text instead of the logo.
