    xp security update failed

    The XP security KB913446 has failed to update. I could update the other four.
    Did anyone encountered this problem?

    Yep,,same here. Five tries thru' normal procedure and all failed. Drill down thru' the 'more info' links until you get to the actual page,or just type it into the KB search for KB913446 and you can install it from there...

    I'm having the same experience ...KB913446....tried three times and failed.
    Ridge, I tried finding the page you referred to, but to no avail.....any chance you could post a link?

    I had exactly the same problem

    Somebody at MS needs a slap for this, it's hard enough to get people to keep their computers patched as it is. It shows how much testing goes into patch deployment

    Microsoft has already fixed the MS06-007 installation issue.
