    Question Problem retrieving email/Outlook Express

    I keep getting this message lately when retrieving my email:

    Message number 1 could not be retrieved. Account: 'mail.access4less.net', Server: 'mail.access4less.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR unable to open that message', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800420CD

    Everything else comes through ok...
    Heard at a local auto-repair shop:
    "I couldn't repair your brakes,
    so I made your horn louder."

    bojovan--Are you saying that all incoming and outgoing messages except for incoming "message #1" are processed properly? If correct, is this happening each day or only sometimes? Can you tell from whom the message came?
    It could be that the message is tagged as spam or is corrupt.
    Does access4less have a web site on which you could read the one message?
    Can you email or phone access4less? I believe they are part of Earthlink now. Maybe they no longer charge for service calls?

    Yes, each day for the last week. I went to web mail for EarthLink and found nothing to help. I don't use EarthLink's software to retrieve my email, it is setup within outlook Express...
