What setting do I need to change to view .gif in emails[Solved]
I changed some settings on my PC or Microsoft Outlook and no longer see the actual .gif in emails. All I see is the http:// link. Where do I go to correct this so I see the actual .gif ? Thx in advance.

COPO--Maybe I misunderstand. If you are seeing http:// link instead of an image, I would think that is because the sender has sent you a link to the image and not the image as an insert or attachment.
However, you could check to be sure that .gif images are associated with a graphic's viewer like Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, IE, Irfanview, etc..

Irfanview is associated with .gif. The email was sent to more than 1 person and the other persons email has the .gifs.
Fixed, I back tracked my changes to make my pc and email run faster and be secure. I went to email and was viewing my msgs as plain text.
tools/options/pref/email options/ and unchecked read all std mail in plain text.

COPO--Thanks for posting back with the solution. I thought the situation was specific to .gif files, so made my suggestion accordingly. Presumably you could not see .jpg, .bmp, etc. files either.
