Those links don't seem to work.
Some cards use standard cables, e.g.:

and some use floppy type connections.

You would need to disable the floppy in the BIOS to avoid the system complaining, and it would be better to have it running straight from the PSU....so yeah, i don't see why not.

This would work: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812101106 you just plug a spare standard power plug from the PSU into the female end, and you have 2 x 3pin floppy connectors, one to go to the floppy and one spare.

Most any good computer store will have power splitters. Of course you can find them on the web too, but the shipping and handling will probably be more than the splitter. JDR has some on this page: http://jdr.com/interact/item.asp?itemno=GR-FDD-5Y

BTW, by buying the refurb instead of new from newegg, you are missing all of the following parts:

The note on their site that's attached to that picture states:
The pictures shown are from the NEW version of this item. If you purchase this Refurbished product you will receive an OEM BAREBONE, meaning it is just the item itself. Accessory items are NOT INCLUDED with Refurbished products. Accessories are shown in the pictures so that customers will know what is missing from the item.
