incorrect system time
On a client machine I reinstalled windows 98se. i went to go to windows update and it made reference to something about not being able to perform windows update due to the fact that the system time was incorrect. It was however correct so why is this error showing up. Acouple of side notes. this client lost their windows cd so i had to copy the cabs folder to cd and retrieve the cd key from the registry i don't know if this is the reason or not.

Time stand still for no one. Computers not withstanding.
Windows updates cause me more probs than worth.
Simple first:
Replace battery
Use this Atomic Clock just to see what happens.
I go with the update being glitched.

The best freeware (for private use) time setup is found at http://www.thinkman.com/dimension4/ They have updated to include XP etc but I still use the original on my 98SE. Pick a time zone from around the world. JC
