Final Fantasy XI Pc Install Problems.

Im having problems Installing FFXI where it installed Disc 1. But when i put in disc 2 It says its not in. Which it is excellent Condition. But i took back the game and bought another copy. And it has the same Condition. And when i take out Disc one Another box comes up Asking to put in disc one so i do. but it doesnt help the concept i need disc 2 to install. If anyone knows the problems or any ideas. id really appreciate it. Thanks

This is a genuine version of the game and not copy cds ?

You are using the same drive for both discs aren't you ?

ie not putting disc 1 in say one CD/DVD drive and then the other in a different CD /DVD ?

You could try creating a folder on your desktop called FFXI and copy the contents of both CDs into it and try running the installation from there.

It may still require that the CD be put in the drive.
