boot disk to select other XP installation

is there a way I could make a bootdisk that would try to run windows from the second partition instead of the first one?

so instead of selecting the other partition at launch, it will automatically go to partition one. If I put the boot disk in, it will start from the second

    thanx in advanced,
    Byan

You don't need a bootdisk for that. The NTLDR will give you a choice. look at boot.ini in the root directory it's /boot.ini

If the system already knows about the other OS goto My Computer -> System Properties Tab Advanced radio button Startup and Recovery. You should see options there.
