Well the only extensions in mine is Adblock, but I'm still getting regular crashes. Windows error reporting says that it is an unknown fault in FF and that there is currently no solution

Hey Nick,
Could it be a corrupt download?

I had it installed for about 30 minutes and it crashed 4 times. Dual monitors so I had 2 instances and about 5 tabs each open.
That was enough of that, I went back to 1.0.7

I've noticed that it seems to be caused by certain websites - I can have VDr on it all evening with no problems. The TV guide that I use seems to cause it to crash every time, though not immediately:

I've got the radio times link open in another tab......and will keep open for a while.....to see if it crashes.
do you get the popup window banner at top of the page about firefox blocking it?......if not, might be the crash cause?

AdBlock doesn't work with 1.5 see the start of http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=341279.
The fox has been dumping on me on odd occasion since I did the full uninstall / reinstall and try to avoid conflicting programs, not that I know which ones - just don't run too much at the same time.
Anyway I read on one thread on the support forums that the Noia 2 Extreme theme was not compatible with 1.5 even though it claims it is.
I have gone back to using default in the mean time.

There is an Adblock update that works with FF 1.5. The Adblock version is 0.5.2.055. I use it at work on every PC and it has been fine. (At home, I run Ad Muncher.) (There is an extension called Adblock Plus floating around. But I haven't had the guts to try it. I have read it's a hack of the original because the original had not been updated for a long time. Truth is, I have no idea and didn't want to try it.)
On an update note, I must be very lucky. 1.5 is running fine on everything I've placed it on...

Noia 2.991 has worked just fine for me, although I am updating it now that you mentioned it.
Adblock 0.5.2.056 works just fine for me, not crashing FF.
SSparks, I am on radiotimes.com, everything seems ok with that. Did you check your version of Adblock?

Sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been having problems with my NIC, so I've been using my other PC for a bit, which is still running 1.07. I've installed the updated version of Adblock on my main rig now, and I'll see what happens.
Nick.

No other application was running but obviously there are some background tasks.

It pops up a dialog box as per this thread http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...d.php?t=197268 and if I click cancel, Dr Watson starts up and produces the file as attached to the other thread and then shuts FF down.
If I just click OK to terminate, it just shutsdown FF.
The memory address might be different too.
