[RESOLVED] Can't add a wireless ssid on my laptop
I changed the ssid name of my Linksys router. My work laptop worked fine before I removed the current wireless network name (ssid) for my router. Now my laptop does not recognize my router. My tower PC with Win Me works fine, and another laptop with Win XP works. But my laptop with Win XP does not see the Router.
When I go to Network Connections, I see an icon for Wireless Network Connection, but I don't have a wireless tab when I do a properties on the wireless network connection icon.
What do I need to do? Thx in advance.

Which utility are you using to manage the connection?
MCSE 2003, Network+, Security+
Microsoft MVP Windows Server - Networking

Not using any Utility, I fixed the problem with a restore to the previous day....thx anyways. I'm surprised though that there are few people that can reply to wireless problems.

There are plenty of people here to answer wireless questions, but until you answered the first question put to you, there was no point asking any others. Without sufficient context, we can't troubleshoot a problem.
