    problem with windows messenger

Hi! I just installed MS Office XP on my computer, and now windows messenger wants to start up every time I log onto windows. I never use it. How do I keep it from starting up every time I log on so it dosen't use up my resources? I went into MS config, but couldn't find the right entry to disable. Please Help!

Go into Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs, click Add/Remove Windows Components, then uncheck Windows Messenger in there.
Safe computing is a habit, not a toolkit.
