Help me stop this company from email spam!

For the last couple of weeks I opt out from recieveing emails for this company that uses other people email address. The reason I know it's coming from the same company is cause the image logo is attached to the email it's and I click on it to remove myself from their email listing. Once is click on the image it sends me to this address http://unsteadyzzz1.info/ to remove myself. In other emails, they send you diffrent address also, but they all look the same. I have done this over and over and they still send me emails. The so call company is called United Offers. I've looked this company up and found nothing. Please help, what should I do? I've tried to block the senders, but they just uses diffrent email accounts.

First stop replying to the "remove me" link. It's a scam. They use it to find out if they have a live customer. If you reply they send you more emails.

www.firetrust.com makes Mailwasher, a good email antispam program.

Or if there's anything in common with all those emails like the subject line for eg then you can make a rule or a kill filter deleting it from your email server.

    some more info...

Tinkertron--Usually these guys send spam from an endless list of different email services. But on the outside chance they are sending from only one or a few, you may be able to figure out which sites by using the techniques here

You can then complain as described or block these sites.

Those were good options, and here are a few more. You may need to reset your email controls to create an "allow" list. I have comcast high-speed internet and email service, but I just started using Mozilla's "Thunderbird" email software. I did this purposely to get rid of a stalker. Before this, I was forced to change my email address because of spammers. But that's an extreme option, which requires updating your web services and profiles. I would suggest looking into anti-spam software; however, I use spam control features provided by security software installed. I'm not familiar with the stand alone spam control products, but it's an option. I'm very happy with Thunderbird's features and security. I hope this additional information helped. Dang Hotmail!

Yeah but I uses internet base email. I don't uses Outlook or any software email type. My accounts three accounts. One that I have with my ISP, I have Hotmail that I have had for over 10 years and a yahoo account. Yahoo is very good about blocking spammers, I hardly get any junk mail in my inbox. It just that Hotmail account thats bugging me the most.

Hello. I'd strongly suggest you try Mozilla Thunderbird to handle your Hotmail account. Download it at www.mozilla.com. It's easy to set up. You can mark spam as "junk," and the software automatically deletes it upon reception. Eventually, Thunderbird will filter a lot of the spam you're receiving on the hotmail account. I prefer this "custom filtered" email approach because it's an added measure of security against emails with virus attachments. Also, you might want to consider other spam blocking software at www.download.com. I found four spam blocking software at this site, and one was listed as free. However, I didn't download and test any of them. Please don't give up! I went through three major Internet security suites over two years before I settled with separate virus and firewall software packages. Yes, it was costly. The "Competitor's Bonus" rebates helped a little, but I learned what conflicts with software on my system. Good luck.

    Re: Raymond's advice...
I don't think Hotmail supports POP3 except on grandfathered accounts and paid accounts. You might have to set up a free account with a company that supports free POP3 mail to be able to use Thunderbird or other email apps.
