Network Places not available, same domain?
Hi all
2 servers on the same domain, both running Windows 2003 Server (enterprise).
Server 1 can see server 2 in My Network Places, all as it should.
Server 2 cant see server 1 in My Network Places, in fact when you go onto Server 2, and click the domain name it says 'Domainname is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have permission...'
Logged in as Domain Admin, and able to browse network manually, ie \\server1 no probs.
Any ideas?
This is part of a bigger problem. Server 1 and 2 are both running Exchange, Server 1 is Master and Server 2 is Member.
Server 1 can send/receive mail internally + externally, full functionality.
Server 2 can only send mail internally, thats it.
I think this problem might be due to the fact that the 2 obviously are not communicating properly with each other, and/or one is not communicating properly with the network/domain.
Thanks
Hong
