I read this article above about how intel p4 chips use way more power consumption than the pentium M. It was talking about how it could slow the p4 pc's and the p4 cpu's would run as fast as a pentium M 2.6 ghz or something around that range.

I am wondering what your experiences with intel p4's are about them heating up under heavy loads, with a 6800 gt videocard, and high end games running?

Also how does the Pentium 4 3.2 ghz prescott fare with the rest of these for you guys? I know the article states that it uses heavy power, but what about for you guys? What are you methods to cool the cpu to a good range?
