I've been trying to run my TV player on my pc and keep getting the error message "TV Player failed to initialize the video". This happens when I click on the TV icon on the ATI control bar. I understand you can watch and record the tv signal to the HDD and burn on DVD with this card. That's what I'm trying to do.

I've tried to reinstall the drivers from the ATI CD, their website, etc. Also reloaded WM9 AND the newly released WM10. Also tried the Catalyst from the website, old and new, NO LUCK.

Using:

XP Pro
Intel P4 1.5GB
1GB RAM
ATI 8500DV

Please advise.
