Un-install win2000pro
This may seem to be in the wrong forum, but bear with me.
I have win2000pro installed, been getting the blue screen for begining physical memory dump real frequently.
Could not resolve it.
Bought winXP pro and installed it on same computer in same partition.
XP seems to be working fine.
Or seeing as I have installed anything except AVG free Anti-Virus, should I just format the hard drive and install XP clean install?
Before I installed XP I tried to think how I could format the hard drive or un-install win 2000 but came up with no ideas.
Question is: Can I uninstall the win2000 from it some way so only the XP will remain, or
should I format the HD and start with a clean HD and install winXP?
When I start up the PC, I get the dual boot menue selection to start up with 2000 or XP, (which is the defaulted highlighted selection).
