I just picked up this T41 IBM thinkpad. Very, very nice.
It came with the Active Protection System for the harddrive - has anyone else used this yet? I think it still has a long way to go. There is a setting in the control panel where you can select for it to ignore smaller frequent shocks like travelling in a car or train, but it still seems to be kicking on an awful lot unless I'm sitting at the desk.

I was pretty excited about this feature, and yes we got this one sort of as a "test machine" to see if this was going to be the selling point for going with all IBM's in the future, but unless I'm missing something, this APS may not be the deciding factor.
