Logging 'net usage
Just got broadband, cheap but capped at 2gb / month and was considering upgrading to uncapped .
I really need to see how much data I use on a typical day ( ie when I stop playing on the hi speed sites ! ) , to judge if the extra money is worth it .
I am looking for a freeware program that will record the total amount of information I send/receive over a day or week .. Something like the bytes sent/received you can see when you hover over the connection icon in the system tray. Since I reboot fairly often (win98) I need something that will continue logging the data each time I connect to the net .
Any ideas ? I am sure someone asked for the same thing a week or so ago , but blessed if I can find it !

There is no such thing as overkill. 'Open fire' and 'is it dead?' are the only sane options when threatened.
