I had a minor prob with inability to get a link to work from a website by using the icon to send mail. Had missing dll, fixed that - Then, ran PCDoctor 'free' analysis which found 5 problems - of which 4 were considered high in nature. They were: invalid activeX.com file in Registry - 2 probs; invalid activeX com files, subsect 2 probs invalid microsoft shared file 1 prob - registry refers to1 or more invalid files. I tried going to tools - internet options - security - custom settings- security - and disabling activeX, but no help - so, now I have several questions - how and/or should I go into regedit and delete certain lines, or use ; in front of specific lines or should I try to download active X again? While I have done some of this before - I know this can be hazardous to system if a mistake is made. PCdoctor wants money, so, I am trying to get advice here first.
