Howdy all

A few days ago I downloaded KNOPPIX_V3.2-2003-07-26-EN.iso from doing a search at www.FileMirrors.com, i have just found out there is a newer version 3.3, but i find so many different dates on the file names that i find it quite confusing...

My Question is... Are these dates in the file name related to different builds of Knoppix, meaning that's when it was released? or are the dates based on something else to do with the server they're stored on?...

...assuming it's build related, that would mean a new build is released sometimes after only a few of days, wow, do they really update it that often... these differently dated files have slightly different sizes as reported by FileMirrors website too, which is why i think they are different builds.

I ask because i'm wanna d'load 3.3, but i just want to be sure i'm getting the latest official Version.

I'm happy to be able to dip my toes into the Linux waters with so little effort, as a bonus this Knoppix seems really very useful too.

TIA & Regards
