On startup and after desktop and ZA screen appeared, an error message opened saying:
Explorer caused a general protection fault in module shell.dll at 0002.000002d4.
I tried to close the error message window,but it wouldn't close. I then rebooted to "safe mode" and ran Windows scan disk, but no errors were found, so I rebooted and this time no error message appeared. Since the error didn't reappear, does this mean the problem has ironed itself out???
I don't have any of the other Norton Utilities installed to check for errors except AV, so don't know how else to find out what happened and how to fix it.
Am running WN98SE 4.10.
