Every time I launch a new browser (IE6) there is a delay finding my home page with "detecting proxy settings" in the lower taskbar window. Its not that slow - maybe 20-30 secs- but slower than before and I wonder if there is anything I can do to help it "detect the proxy settings"?
I am running XP Pro on ADSL connection as a server for a home network with Kerio firewall. Everything else is running fine and this is really a matter of fine tuning as, once connected, new websites are found as quickly as before. However the delay in first connection is a new problem.
Any thoughts or ideas
