Windows XP WordPad Problem
Hello Everyone!
I use Windows XP Home Edition and I previously used Windows 98. I was used to copying and pasting alot of things to WordPad in 98 and then saving it to disk. I'm having alot of frustrations in XP Wordpad. I copy and paste in WordPad now in XP and it always has a pop up box telling me that it needs me to insert the CD disk "Microsoft Works Suite 2002 Disk1" which came with my computer. The pop up also tells me that this has not been installed for the current user. I am the only user for my computer and I've installed this disk so many times, I wish I had a dollar for each time. I know about saving it to text or doc. But I'm just wondering why I need to keep inserting the disk each time I save something? Also, when I install some games or certain software sometimes, it prompts me to install this same disk. Once I install it and it runs and does it's thing, everything is fine and it does whatit's supposed to do.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
If I don't get back in a timely manner to thank you, don't think I'm rude or ungrateful. We've been hammered with tornadoes since Sunday and electricity is on and off. Kansas in the spring! Gotta love it!
Thanks!
