What is the best DVD-Burner software you suggest?

A buddy of mine got one and I've done some reading, but everywhere I read about a good one, somewhere else trashes it.

Before he goes and buys the software, anybody have any suggestions?

I'd trust you guys (and gals) before any of these magazines
