Windows Explorer display format
Win 98 committed suicide a few days ago and I took the opportunity to start fresh. I installed a 2nd hard drive as the boot drive. The original drive has all the old programs and data but I'm moving/installing only what I actually use as I need it. Amazing how much smaller the Registry and how much faster the machine. Also gonna partition and install XP and Linux, but thats another story.
Anyway, its been so long since the last installation that I've had to rediscover some of the tricks for configuring 98. One thing I haven't figured out is how to set the default display format for Windows Explorer.
I can set each view individually but surely there's some way to make my preference the default so I don't have to change the view every time I look at a different file!
