I have a small server setup running Redhat Linux 6.1, I also have a Travan tape drive installed.
I am able to use it via the command line to back up to /dev/nht0 and it works really well. But the built in backup program called Kdat does not work, I have set it up to point to the device and have also setup default tape drive. But every time I go to mount the tape it tells me that there is no tape in the drive.

Is there any other GUI based backup software?
