I've borrowed a Toshiba Satellite pro 440cdx P133/16meg from a friend for a trip I'm going to take. It has one of those little button thingies in the middle of the keyboard to operate the cursor. I've plugged a ps2 mouse into the appropriate ip jack to get something that I can actually use with some expertise (have you ever tried to use one of those little buttons to accurately move the cursor? Geez! near impossible) Anyway when the PC is booted I can just plug in the mouse and it works fine but if I leave the mouse plugged in during boot it conflicts with the built in cursor-mover and the cursor goes nuts running around and clicking on everything it can and I have to unplug the mouse and reboot. Anyone know how to temporarily disable the built in cursor-barely-mover so I don't constantly have to plug/unplug my mouse? I can't see anything obvious in control panel or anywhere else.

Thanx
