Can i Manually Configure CD-ROM's in BIOS?
Many thx for the help in my last problem!!!
My PC is a Celeron 300a with CB61LX MOBO with the Intel 440LX chipset and Award 4.51PG BIOS...
at the moment during boot sequence the PC automatically detects the CD-ROM/RW as it is set to do in the BIOS...
How do i manually configure them in the BIOS to shorten the BOOT time? I know where to enter the drive parameters but do NOT know what to enter... How can i find out the parameters for my ROM's? are they the same for all ROM's, i've tried looking with no results.
one is a Daewoo 36HX CD-ROM
the other is a Mitsumi CD-4804TE CD-RW
any ideas? TIA & Regards
