Have been reading several threads about people worrying about CPU temps running at 40c to 50c. Perhaps i had better worry too?

My setup is, InWin A500 mid tower w/300Watt PS. 80mm case fan bottom front pulling in. 80mm rear fan just below PS blowing out. HSF is FOP32-1 with Artic silverII paste on an Athlon T-Bird 850MHZ and,of course the Asus board with fan on VIA chip. Also ATI Radeon 64MB DDR vid card with fan.

Now to the "fun" stuff When i start up, the Asus Probe tells me the CPU temp is about 41c after a few minutes run time. I go online and surf around a bit(15 to 30 min.) and check the temps again with probe and it says 47c to 50c. I do not play games or do intense graphics and i have the case up off the floor on a stand with air flow all around. My room temp runs about 70 to 75f.

I read a post saying to set VCore to 1.7V cause the default 1.886V is too high. I go into BIOS to check mine and the BIOS monitor says the voltage is 1.776 The VCore is set to "auto", but i go to "user define" and it says VCore is 1.50? I set it to 1.45(next step down), save and exit and i get to Windows start screen and no further. I re-boot to BIOS and set it back to "auto"(1.50V) and save/exit. Start-up goes fine and back to Windoze. I run Asus Probe and it says VCore voltage is 1.776V. I reboot to BIOS and look at hardware monitor and it says VCore is 1.72V

Just fired up Asus Probe while typing and it says CPU:51C/123F,,MOBO:33C/91F..My room temp is 75F

Any thoughts?
Oh ya',,no help from "Asus" site that i could find..This may not be a "biggee", but if i can prolong the life of my CPU it would sure be nice.
