TCP/IP networking with win98 SE
Im using win 98 SE and have 2 computers in a peer to peer network using a 3com hub. I have installed netbeui, ipx and tcp/ip, but when I ping other computer I never get an answer (destination host unreachable). I tried uninstalling all the protocols but tcp/ip and the network did not work.
I wanted to know where can I get a tutorial on networking with TCP/IP. All from the beggining, in win98 SE. I already visited microsoft support but they only have troubleshooters or questions answered. They dont cover tutorials (or I did not find any). The reason I want to use TCP/IP is because I can not use wingate or ICS because of something, and I think I need my TCP/IP running and is not.
thank you
